Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society Sigma Pi Chapter
Alpha Gamma Sigma (AGS) Honor Society is the California Community Colleges honor society. Founded in 1925, AGS Honor Society was created to foster, promote, maintain and recognize academic excellence at the community college level. Active members of AGS do more than just get good grades. They are often some of the most active, involved, and influential students on campus because AGS promotes scholarship combined with service to the campus and local communities.
AGS is a state-wide academic honor society. Members must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and have completed at least 12 graded units of college courses. Members must pay chapter dues and maintain their grades each semester to be a member in good standing.
