ASE/NATEF Certification
Golden West College is a NATEF (National Automotive Training Education Foundation) certified school in the area of Automotive Technology.
This organization maintains strict governance over the number of hours each class is taught, the type and quality of tools we purchase and the curriculum we teach in class. Our certification means that we have to teach to a very strict list of lab assignments that match the requirements of the industry. We must teach at least 95% of these lab assignments in order to maintain certification status. This certification makes us eligible to receive manufacturer donations of cars and equipment and become sponsored by a manufacturer.
