Description:

The mission of the Golden West College Child Care Center is to provide a high quality child centered program that focuses on the social, psychological and intellectual components of child development through creative play and developmentally appropriate curriculum.

Highlights:

  • We interface with the Associated Student Body and participate in many campus activities and events i.e. Winter Celebration with Mr. & Mrs. Santa, Spring visit with the Bunny, Cinco de Mayo, Halloween Parade
  • We work with the Nursing Department for the “Well Child” program
  • We host a Holiday Open House for the campus and our families at the end of Fall semester
  • We have a graduation ceremony to recognize our children going to Kindergarten
  • A monthly newsletter is written to keep our families informed of what is going on in the Center and includes a parenting information page
