Short Term Courses
Courses within this program are for currently employed law enforcement personnel. Some of the courses in this program are P.O.S.T. mandated in-service Advanced Officer Training (AOT), or Continued Professional Training (CPT) and may be assignment specific or for general career growth.
Students in this program have the opportunity to:
- Satisfy P.O.S.T. skills and knowledge mandates.
- Meet P.O.S.T. mandated training requirements relative to certain assignments or promotions.

Collectively the courses in these three programs validate the mission of the college. They not only provide educational opportunities for new college students but pre-service and in-service students alike. Meeting student needs for career placement, development and advancement.
In these programs the department performs a valuable service for the student as well as the community. Over the years, the Criminal Justice Training Center has maintained a reputation for excellence in instruction and in meeting the needs of its students as well as the Law Enforcement community, which make up its constituency.
