Like magic, you will be able to retouch pictures to correct lighting and color, remove lines and blemishes from people’s faces, and reveal details totally hidden in dark areas of pictures. You will learn how to insert and remove people, animals, and objects from photos, and completely change backgrounds. You will master a wide array of specialized techniques and brushstrokes that you can use to turn your everyday photos into watercolor, charcoal drawing, and oil painting masterpieces. How to Buy & Sell on the World’s Most Popular Online Auction Site

This "hands-on" workshop is designed for participants who own a computer and have a basic understanding of how to use it. This workshop will teach the participants how to create an eBay account and learn how to buy items and place items for sale.  Participants are encouraged to bring their first item to sell to the first meeting.  The item will be digitally photographed and stored.  Participants will learn how to research other items for sale and how to price and promote their item online.  At the conclusion of the first meeting all participants should have eBay accounts set up and be on their way to having their first item posted for sale on eBay. At our second meeting, we will monitor the auction and see how successful our sellers were at their venture.  We will then explore the eBay stores and the options for small business owners in partnering with eBay.  We will learn how to accept credit cards and checks through the eBay PayPal program.  In order to sell on eBay, you must have a valid checking account or credit card.  Participants must bring one or both to sign up with eBay. For security purposes eBay will call you at class to verify your identity so you should bring your cell phone. Each participant will have a PC to use.
