Electronic Disbursements for Financial Aid
Direct Deposit to your Bank or Sallie Mae® Debit Card (Just like your ATM card)
GWC disburses financial aid electronically and you need to let us know whether you want to receive your funds on a debit card, or deposited directly into your personal bank account. Instead of waiting seven to ten days or longer for your money to arrive after it is disbursed, you will now get it within 24 hours of the disbursement! If you received your GWC financial aid electronically last year, then you need not sign up again. But if you didn’t sign up last year, please do so now to avoid holding up the disbursement of your aid.

From there you will be prompted to follow the simple activation steps necessary to set up your disbursement information. Once you’re signed up, you will be ready to receive your financial aid at the time of disbursement. You will also be able to:
Prior to signing up:
- Have your student ID & Social Security #
- You must have your social security # on file with Admission’s and Records
- If you choose to have direct deposit you will need to know your savings/checking account #
Create your account:
- Click here to create your account
- Under new user click “Sign up”
- Read the terms and conditions and click accept
- Enter your last name, GWC student ID#(remember you must use a capital C and then your number) and your birth date. Then click “next”
- Enter all required personal information and click “next”
- Create your username & password
- Then select either the debit card or direct deposit (ACH). Follow the instructions.
- Click “save”

- View the status of your financial aid disbursement
- Know how much was deposited and when
- Change which of your accounts the money will be deposited to (from savings to checking or vice versa)

- View the status of your financial aid disbursement
- View and manage your debit card balance
- Transfer your balance into a bank account of your choice from the online application.
