Mark D. Apodaca
Mark D. Apodaca is recognized as a successful business administrator and dedicated volunteer. He is currently the assistant vice president of finance for Communication Services for the Deaf (CSD). He is responsible for managing finance and human services programs for the deaf and blind in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and Georgia. Previously, he was director of CSD in Georgia for two years. He has also held high-level positions for the Greater Los Angeles Council on Deafness, Inc. (GLAD), which included director of finance and administration from 1993-1998 and chief executive officer responsible for six subsidiaries and 70 employees throughout southern California from 1998 to 1999.

In addition to Mark’s professional experience, he continues to serve as an advisory board member, treasurer and chair, and volunteer of several national organizations for the deaf. Since 1996 he has been the president and founder of the California Latino Council of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Inc. He has been an assistant professor of accounting at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), University Extension from 1991 to 1993.
Mark earned an associate’s degree from Golden West College and both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Pepperdine University.
