Monetta Marcene Ray

Excellence in Care.  With over 20 years of experience in the nursing profession, Monetta Ray is more dedicated to helping communities understand the importance of good health care in today’s society.

In Monetta’s current position as manager of education at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center, she is responsible for developing and furthering the center’s educational programs associated with internal and external support services and processes.

Throughout Monetta’s career, she has been and continues to be an active member of important professional affiliations, such as the Academy of Medical/Surgical Nurses; Greater Orange County Health Educators Association; and Basic Cardiac Life Support Instruction, American Heart Association:  Orange County & Los Angeles Chapters.

In addition, Monetta has been an active participant in community events.  She has also received several service and leadership awards for her professionalism.

Monetta is a licensed registered nurse and earned an AA degree from Golden West College, a BS degree in Nursing from California State University, Fullerton, and a Masters of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) from the University of California, Los Angeles.
