Meet Janelle Leighton

A practitioner in the field of International Education for twenty years, Janelle received her B.A. degree in Political Science/Sociology from Chapman University and M.A. degree in Management from the University of Redlands. She identifies her study abroad program in Winchester, England; her experiences traveling internationally, and her subsequent training and leadership with the Association of International Educators as experiences which have shaped and influenced her interest in international education. She has served international students in a variety of capacities including advising, teaching, and program development. In 1999, Janelle was given the opportunity to develop a full-service center for international students at Golden West College. She is pleased and honored to welcome the many international students from around the world who choose GWC as their study abroad destination. |
