English Proficiency Requirement for International AdmissionInternational Students and Intercultural Programs
International students whose native language is not English must demonstrate sufficient knowledge of English to benefit from instruction at the college level. One of the following options is required at the time of application.

Successful completion of the indicated class level at one of our partner schools below is an accepted form of English demonstration.

English proficiency may also be demonstrated by successful completion of prior post‐secondary coursework in English/ESL. Official post‐secondary transcripts are required.
Applicants applying from within the U.S., who are unable to demonstrate English proficiency in any other way, may request to take the Golden West College Placement Test. Sufficient scores on the GWC Placement test at the time of application will be considered for the purpose of admission.
