Homestay Program
The International Student Program provides a homestay program for full-time GWC international students who request placement with a local host. The homestay experience provides an excellent opportunity for international education and exchange between international students and local residents. Our hosts (some single, some families) are located within approximately 5 miles of the campus and make-up a variety of ages and interests. The cost ranges from $550-$650 per month (without meals) and $650-$750 per month (with meals). The process for securing homestay placement begins with indicating your interest in this service on the International Student Application form. Then, a homestay application is sent to you along with your admissions materials. A placement is confirmed approximately one month prior to arrival. Placement is secured for a minimum of one semester.
