Measure M Construction Update:

Student Services Project:   Concrete pour for north canopy footings is scheduled for Wednesday 3/15.  Exporting soil is scheduled for this week with trucks entering thru the main construction access road.  The main construction access road is the road between the Native Garden and Auto Tech all the way to Cosmetology Delivery of steel is scheduled the week of 3/13 with trucks entering thru the access road between Kaplan and Amphitheater.  Please exercise caution around the construction equipment as they enter the campus and follow directions from the flagmen.  Noise levels will be moderate due to large equipment for these activities.  Ongoing delivery of miscellaneous material deliveries.

Criminal Justice Project:  Welding and metal deck installation ongoing.  Please be careful not to look at the welding arc.  Concrete pour for grade beam scheduled for Thursday 3/16.  Please watch for periodic concrete deliveries as they enter and exit the project site.  Pedestrians and Drivers need to follow closure signs and be cautious as they travel around the construction site.  Due to the wet condition of the project site portion of Parking Lot H is fenced off for staging of steel.  Noise levels will be moderate due to the large equipment for these activities.  Fencing for the dirt lot adjacent to Parking Lot G has been installed.   The dirt lot will be closed for any public parking until the project is complete.  The access road will remain open for the majority of the construction project with short periods of closure for work on the road.  Trenching outside project site for underground utilities is scheduled to start during Spring Break March 27-April 2.  Specific information will be provided in the future after further coordination. 

Math/Science Project:  DSA approved building plans is anticipated to be issued 3/21/17.  Bid date tentatively scheduled for 4/20.   Please note that the parking lot sidewalk west of the project is closed for the duration of the project.  A temporary pedestrian walkway has been created in the parking lot to accommodate all pedestrian traffic through this area.

Security Project:  Physical installation of cameras, emergency phone, access control antennas, and emergency phone towers are completed.  Training for access control software is scheduled 3/14.
