Campus Emergency Procedures: How to react in a Disaster
Who should attend: Students, Faculty, and Staff
Description: Golden West College has developed Emergency Response Procedures to train you on what to do when an emergency occurs on campus. Whether an earthquake, flood, shooter on campus, or other emergency strikes while you are at the college, you need to know what steps to take to protect yourself. This training will provide you with the knowledge necessary to make informed decisions on who to notify and how to react. Learn about the campus and countywide emergency notification systems and how to sign up.

Incident Command Training
Who should attend: Anyone on the campus with an emergency response assignment including: Building Marshalls and Assistants; Division Supervisors; Command Post Personnel; CERT Teams; M&O Personnel; Pubic Safety Officers; and anyone interested in joining a response team. We need additional Building Marshals and First Aid trained personnel so if interested, please attend.
Description: Golden West College has developed an Emergency Response Plan where
employees will respond to the needs of students, faculty and staff. In every building we will
have a Building Marshall and three Assistants; the campus has been divided into four divisions and we need Division Supervisors for each division; we need Search & Rescue and First Aid Teams; we have developed a Command Post plan and are looking for interested personnel to help manage the disaster. Whether you have been assigned a position or not, if you are interested in learning how to respond to emergencies on campus, please attend this training. Your campus needs you!
