Lady Rustlers defeated Chaffey in first round of playoffs
11/12/08 - The Lady Rustlers drowned Chaffey in an 9-5 finish in the first round of the Southern California Regional Playoffs. The Rustlers entered into the tournament seeded 9th in SoCAL and defeated No. 8 seed Chaffey.

The Rustlers will match up against the No. 1 seed Riverside on Friday at 11:30 AM at Golden West College.

Undefeated in Conference
10/1/08 - The Golden West women’s water polo team improves to 3-0 in conference play after defeating Santa Ana with a score of 9-4.

The Rustlers’ defense stopped any attack the Don's attempted. Limiting Santa Ana’s offensive drives, the defense controlled the tempo of the game.

Freshman Kamilie Maahuna'alli led all scores with five goals. Teammates Samantha Garcia, Melanie Nellor each added a goal, and Lauren Lingle netted two.

Jenny Tieter (Loara HS) tallied thirteen saves on the day.

The Rustlers hits the road for thier next conference game on Wednesday, Oct 8 verse Saddleback at 4:00pm. Golden West looks to improve to 4-0 in conference play.
