Golden West College offers students several ways to earn a degree: the Associate in Arts Degree (AA); the Associate in Arts for Transfer (AA-T); and the Associate in Science for Transfer (AS-T).
The AA-T and AS-T degrees are intended for students who plan to complete a bachelor’s degree in a similar major at a California State University (CSU) campus. Students completing these degrees are guaranteed admission to the CSU system, but not to a particular campus or major.
Degrees with a Two Year Completion Guarantee
Golden West College currently offers many Associate Degree for Transfer majors that have been pre-scheduled, making it possible to complete in two years GUARANTEED! Students enrolled in these cohorts will receive priority registration every semester to assure available seating in required courses.

Meet up with friends in the Student Center between classes. Play video games or shoot pool in the game room, watch the big-screen TV in the lounge area, or get a bite to eat in the Cove Café.
Join a study group and use one of the many private study rooms in the Learning Resource Center, equipped with computers and large display monitors.
Participate in events throughout the year — Homecoming, BBQs, live entertainment, Diversity Week, Intercultural Program events, community service projects, service-learning opportunities, and leadership conferences — just to name a few.
Become a Leader. Run for Student Council, join the Student Senate, or be the student voice on a campus-wide committee. Whatever your interests, there is a job for you in student government. As a representative of the students, members put their leadership skills to work.
