OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The Assessment Center staff will provide you with accurate information, maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of your records in a courteous manner. We will provide you with the information necessary to select the appropriate test session and provide a test schedule that is sensitive to the needs of all students including evening and weekend students.

THE STAFF

The staff consists of a coordinator, testing technician, and several support staff.

The Assessment Center Coordinator ensures that all of the operational functions of the Center meet the needs of the faculty, staff and students. The Testing Technician handles all of the testing needs of the Center. The support staff provides assistance in making appointments, choosing appropriate test sessions, transferring of test scores from other colleges and assisting with test administration.

THE WEB SITE

The Assessment Center Web site contains all of the information that is provided through the office. You will be able to download forms, sample tests and view the Placement Testing Information page that is updated monthly with the current test dates and times. You can also email your choices for testing appointments.

APPOINTMENT REQUESTS

When requesting a testing appointment online, you will be required to enter your eight digit GWC student ID number.

Online applicants: Once Admissions and Records office has processed your application, your registration appointment and student ID number will be emailed to you. Please allow three business days for your Admissions application to be processed.
