Career Assessments

CAREER ASSESSMENTS

Career Assessments are tools designed to help acquire information that can help you make informed career decisions. Career Assessments are not a test and should not be used as the sole career and or major decision indicator. Depending on your needs, a specific assessment might be more useful than another.

Interested in taking a career assessment, request an appointment by calling (714) 895-8217 or chat with a representative.

Popular Career Assessments: MBTI (Personality), Strong Interest Inventory (Interest), Strengths, and Value Card sorts.
-- Some require active enrollment at Golden West College.

Strong Interest Inventory

STRONG INTEREST INVENTORY (SII)

A research-validated assessment that measures an individual's interests in a broad range of occupation, work leisure activities and school subjects to help them select a career they are passionate about. The Strong does not measure abilities, aptitudes or competencies.

Myers-Briggs

MYERS-BRIGGS PERSONALITY TYPE (MBTI)

A widely known inventory to match careers that best fits your personality. It allows you to see where people with your same Type are the most fulfilled and happy. If you have a job that makes you fulfilled and feel good – then you won't work a day in your life because you are in a position that matches your strengths.
