There are 3 easy steps to getting started with DSPS…

STEP 1 – GWC Application. Anyone who is interested in taking classes at Golden West College must first submit an application to the Admissions Office. Application to Apply to GWC

STEP 2 – DSPS Application. Students are required to complete a DSPS Application. Disability Verification (DV) documentation is required as well. This may come in the form of an I.E.P, Multidisciplinary Report, 504 Plan, Audiogram, Psychology Report, Doctor’s note, DV form from a License Professional, Other. *You can upload the DV form in the online application.

If you are unsure or do not have DV, please contact DSPS at 714-895-8721 to discuss with our staff.

STEP 3 – Once DSPS receives your DSPS Application you can contact DSPS to make an appointment with the DSPS Counselor. The counselor will provide the student with information about the college, academic matriculation and classes, transfer and degree requirements, vocational programs, student services, and academic accommodations. Eligibility for services will be determined based on DV. *Please Note, the DSPS Application and DV must be returned to the DSPS office before an appointment can be made.
