Construction Update for Week Beginning: 5/31/21

Language Arts Complex - Measure M:
Demolition for the new Language Arts Complex continues, requiring large equipment and movement of large construction vehicles. Dump trucks will continue to haul off debris from the demo of the Health Science and Humanities buildings. Trucks will be positioned in Parking lot B, and construction vehicles will be entering and exiting the construction site via the access road between the Native Garden and Auto Tech. Please mind flagmen and avoid this area. Roads and walkways within the fenced off construction site will not be accessible to pedestrian traffic; please use alternate routes to get around Campus. Exercise caution around construction vehicles and areas surrounding the construction site. Noise level will moderate for these activities. (See attached map [PDF] for work area and construction vehicle routes)

Cosmetology Upgrade - Campus:
The Cosmetology Building is undergoing an upgrade. Concrete flooring restoration continues. Exercise caution around contractor vehicles and areas surrounding the building. Noise level will be low for this activity. (See attached map [PDF] for work area and construction vehicle routes)

Parking Lot Asphalt Project - Campus:
Renovation of parking lots C, D, and E (south Goldenwest and Edinger lots) has commenced. These lots will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians for the duration of the project; please use other parking lots around campus. (See attached map [PDF] for work area and vehicular traffic routes)
