Starting at GWC is Simple

Admission is straight-foward and includes three main steps:

1. Apply
2. Register for classes
3. Take care of tuition (or apply for financial aid!)

That's it — then you're on your way to reaching your goals! We'll be with you every step of the way.

If you're starting — whether it's your first time in college or just a new chapter — you'll probably apply as a "New to College" student.

Got questions? Just ask! GWC is a tight-knit community, and we're here to help you succeed.

STEP 2 | Register & Succeed

Make progress every day and every term. Register, earn credits, complete a program and move on to your next step. There are many options and details. GWC counselors can help!

Your first step in registration is working with your counselor to create a plan to meet your goals. And don't worry: you can adjust every term as needed. Consult a counselor at key points in your education:

  • as you start out
  • as you plan your transfer
  • as you plan for completion
  • when your goals change
  • when you have questions

Our professionally trained counselors are available to assist you by email, appointment, or same-day drop-in consults. To make an appointment or for more information about drop-in consults, visit the Counseling website, call (714) 895-8119 ext. 1 or use the "Chat With Us" feature.
