Construction Update for Week Beginning: 6/14/21

Language Arts Complex - Measure M:
Demolition for the new Language Arts Complex continues, requiring large equipment and movement of large construction vehicles. Dump trucks will continue to haul off debris from the demo of the Health Science and Humanities buildings. Trucks will be positioned in Parking lot B, and construction vehicles will be entering and exiting the construction site via the access road between the Native Garden and Auto Tech. Please mind flagmen and avoid this area. Roads and walkways within the fenced off construction site will not be accessible to pedestrian traffic; please use alternate routes to get around Campus. Exercise caution around construction vehicles and areas surrounding the construction site. Noise level will moderate for these activities. (See attached map [PDF] for work area and construction vehicle routes)

Cosmetology Upgrade - Campus:
Restoration work on the Cosmetology Building has been completed. Expect Delivery Vehicle traffic in coming weeks for furniture and fixtures.

Parking Lot Asphalt Project - Campus:
Renovation of parking lots C, D, and E (south Goldenwest and Edinger lots) continues. Asphalt replacement has been completed, with slurry and striping to come. These lots will remain closed to vehicles and pedestrians for the duration of the project; please use other parking lots around campus. (See attached map [PDF] for work area and construction vehicle routes)
