“Goldchella Senior Preview Day is Golden West College’s annual event that hosts hundreds of local area high school students for a day of college and career exploration. The event provides students with the opportunity to either tour the campus at large; focus on specific facilities such as our Career and Technical Education programs like Nursing, Automotive Technology, Cosmetology, or our on-site Police Academy. Additionally, students are invited to attend workshops covering critical details about Financial Aid, College Admissions and Transfer, Student Support Services, and How to Find Your Place. Each year students are treated to a campus Resource Fair where they can get information flyers and speak with campus representatives from various majors and Student Services departments. The event atmosphere is lively throughout the whole day maintained by live music and performances.
