El Centro is a Latiné Student Success program dedicated to centering the success of Latina/o/x/é students at Golden West College. A program where cultura and heritage are celebrated, El Centro provides intentional support through access to culturally relevant programming, workshops, mentoring, counseling connections, and leadership opportunities.

Cultural celebrations and community-building events, including heritage month programming and Pláticas, bimonthly cafecito conversations offering students a space to connect, engage, and foster a sense of belonging
Academic support and guidance, including Counselor Connection events and Study Corner tutoring pop-ups
Workshops and resources focused on financial guidance, wellness, and personal and professional development
Networking and learning opportunities with faculty, staff, alumni, community professionals, and local universities
A welcoming space to study, connect, and find support, with referrals to tutoring, basic needs, wellness, and other campus resources
