My Academic Plan (MAP)

Get ready to start your college experience!

MAP (My Academic Plan) will help you:

  • Complete Self-Placement for MATH and ENGLISH (including English as a Second Language - ESL)
  • Select some of your General Education courses
  • Identify your Major/Career goals
  • Get your Counselor-approved academic plan for your first semester!

You will need to login with your MyGWC Portal username - this can be found in your GWC Admissions email.

Once you submit MAP, Counselors will begin building your first semester plan.
You can expect an email from Counseling when your Education Plan is ready to view in DegreeWorks (within 48 hours Monday - Friday)

Make sure to complete your GWC Online Orientation to be eligible for Priority Registration.
