The Embedded Tutoring Program at GWC places tutors in a variety of classes to help increase student learning, retention, and success. Embedded tutors work in and/or outside the classroom under the instructor's guidance to help students understand course concepts and enhance student engagement. To request an embedded tutor for your Spring 2027 class, you must complete the online application by October 30, 2026. Late applications will only be considered in the rare case that ET assignments remain after considering applications and priority courses.
Spring 2027 - Embedded Tutor Faculty Application Timeline
- Faculty Application Period October 8-30, 2026.
- Approval Notice to Faculty by November 13, 2026.
- Required Faculty Meeting with Embedded Tutor by first Thursday of classes (2/4/2027 for 16 week and first 8 week classes).
