The Embedded Tutoring Program at GWC places tutors in a variety of classes to help increase student learning, retention, and success. Embedded tutors work in and/or outside the classroom under the instructor's guidance to help students understand course concepts and enhance student engagement. To request an embedded tutor for your Fall 2026 class, you must complete the online application by May 22, 2026. Late applications will only be considered in the rare case that ET assignments remain after considering applications and priority courses.

- Faculty Application Period April 27-May 22, 2026.
- Approval Notice to Faculty by June 12, 2026.
- Required Faculty Meeting during Fall 2026 Flex Day.
- Required Faculty Meeting with Embedded Tutor by first Thursday of classes (8/27/2026 for 16 week and first 8 week classes).
