Umoja

What is Umoja?

Rooted in culture and community, Umoja (Kiswahili for “unity”) amplifies Black student voices and builds pathways to success, from graduation to transfer to HBCUs, UCs, and CSUs. Students who take part in Umoja have access to counseling, scholarships, mentors, workshops, and resources while also experiencing cultural trips, networking, and leadership opportunities.

More than a program, Umoja is a family that celebrates identity, fuels ambition, and empowers students to thrive in college and beyond.
