CalWORKs Work-Study is a great opportunity to gain on-campus work experience while you are attending school. Earnings from work-study employment are subsidized and do not count against TANF cash-aid benefits. However, CalWORKs Work-Study awards and earnings will be included in the calculation of a student's Financial Aid (FAFSA) Award Package.
