Each HyFlex class has two course numbers (CRN) which meet together at the same time.

General Educational Development (GED)

Noncredit GED Test Preparation courses provide students with the reading, writing, science, and math skills necessary to successfully pass the GED exam.

The GED Test is used in California to award high school equivalency certificates. To register and schedule for the GED Test, test-takers must register online by visiting https://ged.com/ or by calling the Pearson VUE call center at 1-877-EXAM-GED (392-6433).

How Do I Get Started
  • First, click on the 'SIGN UP' button at the top of your screen or visit https://get.ged.com/ to create your free GED student account.
  • Use an email address that you will have access to in the future.
  • Pick a secure and strong password. Save your password somewhere safe and do not share it with anyone.
  • There are some questions that we need to ask you in order to create your personalized student experience.
  • Once you are finished with your account set up, follow the messages on your home page to get started.
  • Take some time to explore the tabs at the top of your page such as 'Study', 'My Scores', and 'More' to learn how to navigate all that is available to you and that will help you prepare for the exams.
  • Stay committed by creating 'My Goals' and follow your 'Next Steps'.
