GWC Cybersecurity Club

Cybersecurity Club

Meetings: Thursdays from 3:00 4:00 pm

Advisor: David Giordano

Mission:The Cybersecurity Club is open to all students who want to develop and foster their cybersecurity skills and knowledge that are desired by industry leaders. The purpose of the club is to provide students with technical resources in order to advance their computer security careers and inform the public of the best cybersecurity practices. The club will participate in and train for many events and competitions in which college students are put to the test against security vulnerabilities that they are likely to face within a corporate network infrastructure.

Mission:The Video Game Development Club is an organization where the students who are interested in the process of video game design and development can work together in a collaborative environment. Students will have the ability to work with their peers on video game projects as well as seek and provide assistance with anything related to the video game development process.

Math Club aka Square Up

Mission: To help fellow members and students learn about careers involving math, how to transfer to a university as a math major and offer free math assistance to GWC students as well as the surrounding K-12 schools. While offering free math tutoring, wed like to help educate middle and high school students on the importance of college and explain what they can do now to get there.

Mission: The science club acts as a unit that encourages inquiry, scientific method, and science-centric activities. Members are given the chance to do science and participate in sciencey things with other students interested in the same.
