You'll be prompted to verify after you create your CCCApply account and begin your application. You can verify right then, or come back to it later.
Begin your Golden West College application through CCCApply or MyPath.
Verify with the CA DMV Wallet or with ID.me while you're in the application, or select "Verify Later" and handle it afterward.
You can finish and submit whether or not you've verified yet.
If you select “Verify Later,” complete verification through the CA DMV Wallet or through ID.me. If you are unable to complete your Identity Verification through one of these services, please contact Admissions & Records at 714-892-7711 to see if in-person verification is an available option for you.
⚠ What "Verify Later" means: You can submit your application right away, but it will be held until you verify. Once your identity has been verified, your application will be processed within 3 to 5 business days and you will receive your student ID number and your registration appointment time. If you have not received your Welcome Email after this time, please reach out to Application Support at gwcapplicationsupport@gwc.cccd.edu with your confirmation number.
Applicants under 18: If you are under 18 at the time you apply, you may not be required to verify your identity, however, we may place a registration hold if we require additional documentation to process your application. If a registration hold is placed on your account, Admissions & Records will reach out to the student via email with next steps. Additional documents may include, documentation from your high school verifying your Education Level, and/or Official Transcripts or a Certificate of High School Equivalency if you have already completed high school.
