Courses within this program are designed to serve both currently employed law enforcement personnel and individuals seeking to enter the law enforcement and public safety professions. For current professionals, many offerings satisfy requirements established by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.), including Advanced Officer Training (AOT) and Continued Professional Training (CPT), and may be assignment-specific or support ongoing career development.

For those pursuing a career in law enforcement or public safety, select courses provide foundational knowledge, skills, and preparation to successfully enter and progress within the profession.

Spring – Summer – Fall

For more detailed descriptions of the courses please consult the GWC college catalog. For specific and additional information on P.O.S.T. certified classes, please visit the California Peace Officers Standards and Training website: www.post.ca.gov
