Featuring a book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize winner Marsha Norman and a lush, evocative score by Lucy Simon, The Secret Garden tells the story of Mary Lennox, an orphaned 11-year-old girl sent to live with her reclusive uncle in the Yorkshire countryside. Amidst the isolation of her new surroundings, Mary discovers a long-forgotten garden and begins a journey of healing, growth, and transformation — for herself and those around her.

The production features a talented ensemble cast including Elizabeth Last and Bellami Soleil Smith as Mary Lennox, with Ellie Liu and Annalise Steele alternating in the role of Colin. The cast also stars Mary Frances Conover as Lily, Jay Harbison as Archibald Craven, Joey Nestra-West as Dickon, Gabrielle Gauthier as Martha, and Steve De Forest as Neville Craven. A live orchestra of 20 musicians will accompany the performance, enhancing the show’s emotional depth and rich musical score.

With a cast of 27 skilled performers, dynamic staging, and live musical accompaniment, The Secret Garden at Golden West College promises an unforgettable theatrical experience for audiences of all ages.
