Huntington Beach, CA –The Golden West College Theater Arts Department will present Shakespeare’s The Tempest as the featured production of its summer theater program. Directed by faculty member Amanda Martin, with choreography by faculty member Nicole Haskins, the production will bring Shakespeare’s classic tale of magic, betrayal, forgiveness, and redemption to the stage.
Performances are scheduled for July 31, August 1, and August 2. The production is part of GWC’s summer theater program, which provides students with hands-on experience in acting, stagecraft, costume design, and technical theater.
Tickets will be available through the GWC Tickets website and at the box office prior to each performance.
All performances will be staged in GWC’s 326-seat Mainstage Theater located at 15751 Gothard Street in Huntington Beach.
General admission is $25, while students, faculty and staff, seniors, and veterans may attend for $22. Parking is free for all performances in any Gothard Street parking lots available during construction. Additional free parking is available in both the Goldenwest and Edinger student parking lots.
